To Portia-Ella friends and family,

The beauty industry is intimate, sensitive. It’s one of the only industries in the world that can bring people together so closely, literally and figuratively. We see it every day on a firsthand basis.

The importance of proper hygiene has always been a value of Portia-Ella since we first opened our studio doors in Canada. We have followed through with a commitment to our team and our friends to deliver an experience that promotes the wellness and well-being of all beings. Each action we have taken on our journey is a result of a conscious decision to serve you in the safest and most inclusive manner possible.

It's simply how we have always been.

With the global spread of COVID-19 affecting every one of us differently. At Portia-Ella, we are always people first, and we do what we do with the belief that conscious beauty can change lives and the hope that it can be a valuable tool in a moment like this by promoting the right hygiene and care in our daily lives.

We are all adapting and responding in our own way, and Portia-Ella wants to continue to play a pivotal role in helping Canadian businesses, individuals and communities emerge stronger.


Temporary studio closure

In this time of uncertainty, we want to assure our friends that they can continue to place their trust in the Portia-Ella team. Our studio locations will remain closed at this time, to ensure the safety of our staff and community alike. 

We are accepting online orders and welcome you to browse our website! Our Holistic Beauty Advisors are more than happy to offer phone consults, and you may book one via email services@portia-ella.ca or by calling 1-866-561-5491 between the hours of 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday Central Time.


What does this mean for the community?

We know our users depend on Portia-Ella products for their daily hygiene, especially in times like these. We continue to bring the same creativity and passion for meeting this challenge that we do in everything we undertake.

Portia-Ella encourages the community to continue to support local businesses as these are the businesses that will be the most affected by COVID-19.


Recognition of the Portia-Ella family

I want to recognize Portia-Ella's front-line team across Canada, we know COVID-19 is growing across the country and the effects are still unknown at this time. I recognize the team for their determination and spirit to keep the Portia-Ella experience flowing.

I also want to thank our operations team out of Winnipeg, MB for their remarkable efforts to maintain our supply chain. What we’ve learned together is helping us to develop the best practices that are assisting enormously in our responsibility to keep small to medium-sized female-led brands functioning.


Looking to the future

There is no mistaking the challenge of this moment. First and foremost, Portia-Ella would like to thank all our first responders globally in their efforts to help the people directly affected by COVID-19, they have given every ounce of their soul to help the world meet this monumental moment.

Our young family stands with all of you while we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Above all, I am inspired by humanity and our determination to resolve and respect this novel time.
