Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) - Topical vitamin B3, or niacinamide provides a number of different benefits for the skin including increasing elasticity, strengthening the skin barrier, evening skin tone and reducing inflammation. More and more clinical studies are reporting the benefits of topical vitamin B3 for acne healing and skin regeneration.
Salicylic Acid (BHA) - Salicylic acid is one of acne's biggest enemies. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid, which means the hydroxy part of the molecule is separated from the acid part by two carbon atoms, as opposed to an alpha hydroxy acid where they're separated by one carbon atom, which makes it great at attacking pimples.
Calendula Oil - Has been found to have strong anti-inflammatory properties via powerful flavonoids. These plant-based antioxidants protect cells from free radical damage and pro-inflammatory compounds like C-reactive protein and cytokines. It also works well on sprained muscles or bruises; its anti-inflammatory action helps lessen swelling from injury. Calendula oil also helps treat spider veins, varicose veins, leg ulcers and chilblains.
