CLEANING PROCEDURE

MAKEUP BRUSHES

1. Each time a brush or palette is to be used; it is a clean, unused, and sanitized. Each tool is used only once
2. After a tool is (touched, picked up, or used), it is left with the dirty brushes and palettes, not to be used again until it is properly washed and UV sanitized
3. When cleaning a batch of tools, we fill the brush tub with hot water, and add 20 ml of antibacterial laundry detergent and let the brushes soak for 5 minutes
4. Using a antibacterial bar soap, we lather and clean the bristles on the soap, and use the lather to wash the body and barrel of the brush. Repeated until all residue is gone. Either antibacterial laundry detergent or bar soap is used for cleaning the palettes
5. Brushes are rinsed out, making sure no soap, product, oil, or residue of any kind is left on the brush (or palette)
6. Washed tools are dried on a clean towel (using a fresh towel for every brush batch)
7. Tools are placed in the UV machine and run a 15-minute cycle. After the cycle, they lay flat on the towel to air out
8. Finally, the entire brush or palette is sprayed with alcohol, focusing on the bristle area and surface of the pallet
